Q:Why would I choose the PRO Lower Links over the ULTIMATE Lower Links?

A: The Johnny Joints included with the PRO Lower Linkt kit offer an increased degree of motion and some adjustability of link length.  However, they do require frequent maintenance such as regular lubrication and checking to make sure the jam nuts stay tight.  Because of this, we only recommend the PRO links for those who who can commit to regular maintenance of the joints.  The ULTIMATE Links are more affordable and the OE style rubber bushings do not require as much attention to maintenance.  However, the link material and construction is just as strong in each version.

Q:Why doesn't your "unconditional warranty" cover the bushings (or Johnny Joints)?

A: Our warranty is indeed unconditional, for the portion of the assembly that All-Pro manufactures, that being the link itself.  The link ends, whether they are the OE rubber bushings or the Currie Johnny Joints, carry their own warranties from their respective manufacturers.  Also, those are "wear" parts, not designed to last forever, but are intended for periodic maintenance and/or replacement.  The Links themselves, however, manufactured by All-Pro, do carry a lifetime warranty against bending, which is the primary reason for upgrading to aftermarket links.

PRO Lower Links

If you are looking for the best of the best, All-pro has developed "Pro Links" using top quality Johnny Joint ends made by Currie Enterprises. These high quality rebuildable joints are custom made just for this application and provide flexibility, strength and control, and feature zerk fittings for easy lubrication. The links are made from burly 1.75" x .281 wall DOM tubing. Unlike the other links All-Pro offers, these are fully adjustable to accommodate lifted applications and to allow for the axle to be re-centered in the wheel well and for the pinion angle to be adjusted. Plus, they have an UNCONDITIONAL LIFETIME WARRANTY*

*Lifetime warranty against manufactuing defects, breakage or bending of the link tube, for replacement of parts only, no refunds.  Warranty does not include the replacable components of the Johnny Joint, as those are "wearable" parts that may require periodic service and/or replacement. YOU MUST REGULARLY GREASE YOUR JOHNNY JOINTS!

Lower Link Skids

An area that needs protection is your frame side lower link bracket. The stock brackets are only .100 wall (less than 1/8" thick steel) and are extremely easy to bend when contacting rocks. All-Pro's new brackets add an additional 1/8" of protection by adding a protective glove around the link bracket. These are completely bolt-on, and will work with stock lower links or All-Pro's ULTIMATE or PRO Lower Links.

Greasable Lower Link Bolts

All-Pro's Greasable Lower Link Bolts add longevity and performance to your lower suspension links. These high quality Grade 8 bolts have been bored and tapped, and a grease zerk fitting installed, to channel grease right to the contact point between the bolt and the Johnny Joint, rod end or link bushing. Typically this surface gets no lubrication at all. The ability to regularly apply grease here will help parts last longer, withstand more severe punishment, clear the joint of grit, water and contaminants, lubricate the joint for better freedom of movement, and reduce squeaks and rattles. Greasable bolts are solt in a set containing one greasable Grade 8 fine thread bolt, a Grade 'C' Stover locknut and two Grade 8 flat washers. You'll need four sets to do both ends of both lower links. These bolts are compatible with our PRO Lower Links.
